Pre-stressed Beams & Blocks
Phastor Quick-floor is one of the innovative pre-stressing technology uses in flooring construction for a better result compared with the traditional in-situ concrete floor construction. The technology has the following advantages over the traditional system.
More economical sections, thus about 30% reduction in cost compared with the traditional system
More aesthetic appeal due to slender sections
Reduction in self and overall weight of the floor
Rapid in construction with better quality control
Allows minimum number of columns with maximum design flexibility.
Joint-free, crack-free construction with controlled deflections
The hollow space in the block can be used for concealment of service.
It is intended for rapid and economical construction of floor slabs comprising prestressed concrete beams and hollow blocks which may be of single beams or double beams/blocks types or multiple beams systems for the heavily loaded floor.
The pre-tensioning system of prestressing in which the tendons are tensioned before the concrete is placed, and the tendons are temporarily anchored and tensioned and the prestress is transferred to the concrete after it is hardened for effective maximum strength
